Sheriff Kevin J. Rambosk has been an enthusiastic and dedicated supporter of the Freedom Memorial campaign.  Born in Bergen County, New Jersey, Sheriff Rambosk has been a resident of Collier County since 1978.  A graduate of the FBI National Academy, he has an M.B.A. from Nova University and a bachelors degree in public safety administration from William Patterson University.  He was elected Sheriff of Collier County in 2008 after serving as under-sheriff for three years.  Previously, he worked for the city of Naples including 21 years as a police officer and was appointed city manager from 1999 until his retirement in 2003.   Sheriff Rambosk has been honored with the Outstanding Community Policing Award from the National League of Cities and the Outstanding Crime Prevention Program by the Florida Crime Prevention Association.  Along with his work on behalf of the Freedom Memorial, Mr. Rambosk has also served on the Greater Naples Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, as vice chair of the Substance Abuse Coalition of Collier County, is a past member of the Community Blood Center and Juvenile Justice Council and is a strong supporter of the Boy Scouts of America.
